How to Donate?
We are contacting you on behalf of the Faith, Hope and Love Foundation, in hopes that you might consider donating to our cause. We are a non-profit foundation, started in order to address the overwhelming needs of today’s children and youth. So many of our young people are faced with the detrimental impact of poverty, hunger, and homelessness. In a world where possibilities are endless, it’s sad to watch our young people, our future, lack dreams and the willingness to do and be better for themselves. It is our mission to bring relief to children and youth suffering from poverty, hunger and homelessness, and to bring them hope, through faith and love, so that they may accomplish all of their dreams.
The Faith, Hope and Love Foundation became our vision after witnessing the devastation facing young people today. As young college women at Plymouth State University of NH, we spent our spring breaks traveling the country on service trips. Our friendship was first formed on a Habitat for Humanity build in Valdosta, Georgia. It was there that we first realized our similar passion to make a difference in the lives of youth. Upon graduating we found ourselves in such positions as teacher, and director of a youth center. We spend our days striving to change the minds of young people. Our message is clear, there is a better way. What does it mean to be young and to be struggling in poverty, in hunger and homelessness? It means agonizing every day. It means worrying about the necessities in life, while losing hope and faith in a brighter future. As a result children and youth suffer in a big way. Fragile developing minds are neglected and self-confidence is sacrificed. Childhood and adolescence are by nature engrossed with difficult circumstances and lessons. Young people who have the additional worry of not knowing when their next meal will be, or where they will sleep for the night, are faced with even more difficult challenges. Through the Faith, Hope and Love Foundation we will reach out to those young people. We will restore their hope, and will help them to realize their full potential. Each child, each young person is worth feeling that they are valuable in our world.
Our efforts come from a place of love, our vision from a place of faith and hope. We are simply two small town women yearning to make a difference. We just want to help. We look to our young people and wonder how can we leave them behind in this world? Who among us has not hungered for something at one point or another, whether it be food, or acceptance, or love? The good news is that you can make a difference. Something that we have grown to know is that even the seemingly smallest of gifts, makes a big difference in the lives of our children and youth. We ask that you sincerely consider giving to our foundation. Your donation is tax exempt due to our 501(c)(3) status. Any donation, great or small, is honestly truly appreciated. We ask for your prayers as well, that we might be graced with the ability to change lives.
Sincerely,
