What's been going on with FHL?

Here's just a few things the Faith, Hope, and Love Foundation have been doing:

The Faith, Hope, and Love Foundation hosted a benefit dinner with Harts Turkey Farm of Meredith, NH on Saturday March 24, 2007 from 6-10 pm.

Dan Carter and Project ADAPT provided music.  Co-Presidents Laura Brusseau and Jessica Dutille spoke.

Raffles were provided by Mills Falls, Story Land, Santa's Village, Jill Gilbert of Lia Sophia Jewlery, Silver Cultural Arts Center, Cranmore Mountain, Vases by Maria and Melissa of Massachusetts, Country Singer tickets from Robert and Irelene Orf, and book donated by Chinua Achebe.

The room was decorated with balloons donated from the Party Store of Tilton, and the Party Store of Laconia.  Flowers were designed and arranged by students at Winnisquam High School.

Over seventy people were  in attendance.  Ranging from family, friends, co-workers and even NH State Troopers showed their support for the Faith, Hope, and Love Foundaton!  Volunteers from Laconia High School, Kelsey Converse, Alex Cimon, and Nicole Levasseur were on hand to help where needed.

Photographs of the event are posted on the photo link.

Thanks to all that attended!  We look forward to next year's dinner!

The 2006 Pizza Challenge

In December the Faith, Hope, and Love Foundation hosted a Pizza Challenge for students at Plymouth State University.  The Faith, Hope, and Love Foundation contacted local pizza places in Plymouth, NH to donate pizzas for the event.  Restaurants that participated include Late Night, 174, Plymouth House of Pizza, Tom's Brothers, and The Italian Farmhouse.  The event started at 7 and went until 9:00.  Participants were charged $5 each, and were able to test the pizza from each restaurant and then vote for their favorite choice.  By the end of the night the Faith, Hope, and Love Foundation tallied the votes and declared PHOP the winner.  Be sure to check the Photos link for pictures from the event!
